Classic LandCruisers bring a shared adventure to Caboolture
JtA.LIVE partnered with 4OUR to provide audio for Caboolture’s Classic Landcruiser Expo & Car Show, celebrating motoring heritage and community.

The Classic Landcruiser Expo & Car Show brought motoring heritage and community spirit to Caboolture, with JtA.LIVE returning to provide audio services through its partnership with 4OUR — Moreton Bay’s Own Radio Station.

Rows of classic Toyota LandCruisers filled the arena at Caboolture Showgrounds on Saturday, 17 October 2026, as owners, enthusiasts, exhibitors and families gathered for the Classic Landcruiser Expo & Car Show.
Across the grounds, vehicles lined up in a colourful display of an enduring part of Australia’s motoring culture. Trade stalls and gathering points surrounded the arena, with plenty for visitors to explore between the cars.
For JtA.LIVE, it was a return to an event we have supported through 4OUR for the past two years, providing audio for music and announcements as part of the station’s involvement.
A shared passion on display
A classic LandCruiser gives people plenty to talk about. A restoration can prompt a conversation about finding the right part, preserving an original detail or deciding how far to take a rebuild. A touring vehicle opens up another discussion entirely, about the equipment it carries and the places it could go.
CLECS brings those interests together in one place. Its classic Toyota focus gives owners a chance to compare vehicles, explore ideas and spend time with people who understand the appeal.
The show combines a judged vehicle competition with industry exhibitors, demonstrations, food, entertainment and opportunities to meet the businesses and community organisations involved. There is room to appreciate the workmanship up close and to step back and enjoy the gathering.
Supporting the day through sound
At an event spread across an outdoor arena, people are constantly moving. They stop beside a vehicle, visit an exhibitor, find something to eat and turn their attention to the stage when the programme calls for it.
Sound has a practical role in that setting. Music contributes to the atmosphere between formal moments, while microphones give presenters a way to welcome visitors, share information and bring attention to the people being recognised.
JtA.LIVE’s contribution at CLECS centred on audio for those music and announcement requirements. Working through our relationship with 4OUR, we supplied and operated the sound that supported the station’s involvement in the day.
For us, those familiar event requirements deserve care. A microphone carries someone’s welcome, an introduction or a moment of recognition. Understanding what it needs to do for the people using it is part of understanding the event.

Local radio among the classics
4OUR’s presence also gave people at the show an opportunity to tell their stories.
The station’s coverage included interviews by Hanna with representatives of Outback Exhausts, Terrain Tamer and Farm Angels. Published by 101.5 FM after the event, the conversations give listeners a way to hear from some of the people involved.
That is a valuable part of community radio’s place at a local event. A vehicle, a display or an organisation becomes the starting point for a conversation, giving the people behind it a voice.
For JtA.LIVE, working alongside the station is an opportunity to contribute our audio experience to that wider community involvement.

Recognising the people behind the vehicles
The awards brought the focus back to the owners and their vehicles, with recipients gathering together at the stage to mark the occasion.
For anyone who has spent time restoring or maintaining an older vehicle, there is something familiar in that moment. The finished result represents decisions, problem-solving and hours of work that visitors may never see.
A car show creates a place for that effort to be appreciated. The photographs of recipients holding their awards capture the pride and enjoyment that give the competition its meaning.

A community effort
Presented by CLECS Expo Limited and organised by Mr Landcruiser, the event also has a charitable purpose. CLECS supports Long Drive for Drought and Farm Angels, connecting the LandCruiser community with support for Australian farming communities. The event also acknowledges backing from the City of Moreton Bay.
Organisers, volunteers, exhibitors, vehicle owners and community groups each contribute to a gathering of this kind. Their work creates the opportunity for people to come together around something they care about.
We were pleased to return alongside 4OUR and contribute to that effort. For JtA.LIVE, local events such as CLECS are an opportunity to put our skills to work within the community we call home.
